The "Window Box" Bulletin Board

The Project:  To design and construct a bulletin board and functional storage unit that will serve two young children in a play room.

Plans were first drawn to scale and given to the client for approval. After giving the go ahead, the client, a father of two daughters, was provided a list of particular items to purchase to create a "window box" effect:  a bulletin board, window shutters, a shelf, fence pickets, and baskets with glued silk flowers.  The baskets will serve as storage for crafts, pencils, pens, markers, crayons and other small items.

The client, who is moving, loved it so much that he is taking it with him so he can recreate it in his daughters' new play room.
